The site lies between the railway lines and the Great Stour River and fronts onto Victoria Park to the south. It is part of the major re-development of Ashford Town Centre and will provide a new traffic link, Victoria Road which will enable the opening up and development of the Town Centre.
One thousand apartments linked in small communities with stepped terraces and roof gardens will lead down towards the river and the park beyond.
Dramatic landscaping cascades to the northern site by the railway will create a landmark for the new Ashford.
The project has recently gained outline planning approval, and is the first zero fossil fuel development on this scale in the UK to gain consent.
