Bayerische Hypobank, a city centre banking headquarters is designed around a central garden atrium, the first of its kind in Germany. It incorporates a regime of energy conservation to provide highly efficient administration, management and training accommodation. The building is part of the city masterplan, linking to landscaped gardens and to a residential neighbourhood also designed by Sidell Gibson.
