Sidell Gibson Partnership were appointed after an international competition to act as Architects for the restoration of St George's Hall and the former Royal Private Chapel area of Windsor Castle after they were severely damaged by fire in 1992. These areas, including a new Lantern Lobby, are the only areas of the overall restoration project to include new designs and form the largest new design commission by the Royal Household in the last 100 years.
