We never forget that the client comes first and this has led us to produce the extraordinary diversity of award winning work you see here.
We believe that the right design depends on the client and the site and so in our portfolio the inspired traditionalism of Windsor Castle jostles with cutting edge designs like that of 7-10 Old Bailey, while stone built retirement cottages sit happily alongside strikingly contemporary buildings such as Sir John Lyon House.
What links them all is an overriding commitment to quality – quality of design and quality of service – achieving the very best for each of our clients.
What makes them all happen is an approach which delivers those vital planning consents even on the most sensitive of sites and even where other architects have had to throw in the towel.
Our core strengths have always been in office and residential design, in hotels and in historic buildings but recently there have been exciting new initiatives.
Through an extended association with the very highly respected practice of John Miller & Partners who share our offices we have taken on a wide variety arts and education work.
In April last year we acquired Crouch Butler Savage, one of the longest established practices in Birmingham, thereby strengthening our experience in hotel and schools work and broadening our geographical base.
The recent appointment of Patrick McGirr to head our new interiors department has enabled us to take on a wide variety of commercial fit-out, interior and graphic design work.
While our projects have been located predominantly in the UK we have also completed many schemes overseas, particularly in Germany via our Berlin office and we are now looking even further afield with an associate firm in Bangkok and work in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Sri Lanka.
