Sanya Tomic - Stevanovic RIBA

 

Sanya joined Sidell Gibson in 1995 and has played a major role in a number of large mixed use and office developments in the City of London. .

 

Following her involvement in the successful delivery of the Governor’s House project, she was a Project Architect for Alder Castle, another office development in the City of London for Argent. In her role as an Associate, she took charge of the flagship project at 30 Gresham Street - a £100m office development in the City of London, for Land Securities, completed in 2004..

 

Appointed a Partner of the practice in 2005, Sanya successfully led a team of architects and consultants and was responsible for completion of detailed design and delivery of One New Change, a £300m prestigious office and retail development in the City of London, working for Land Securities and in association with French architects Atelier Jean Nouvel.

 

Sanya has an associated degree in Mathematics and computer science and has gained an extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Computer Aided Design, as well as advanced system management and Auto LISP programming. She was a part-time lecturer of the above subjects at Ealing College.

 

Before pursuing her career in architecture she was a keen athlete, successfully competing in international swimming events, winning national championships and competing internationally.

 

Sanya is a member of the BCO Lighting Committee, set up to review industry wide practice on office lighting and to create a new best practice document.

 

She frequently contributes to various conferences as a speaker, such as her One New Change presentation at CWCT Spring meeting, featuring innovative use of glass and cladding technologies.
