Martyn J Gates RIBA
Martyn Gates joined Sidell Gibson in 1988 and has, since then, taken responsibility for numerous projects including rural housing schemes, schools, leisure centres and some major commercial developments in Frankfurt and the City of London.
Recently completed projects include the redevelopment of the old Patent Office, an important grade II* listed building on the edge of the City, two major offices in Paternoster Square and a large prestigious stone clad office building in Lombard Street.
Cambridge Magistrates Court in the Grand Arcade is one of various courts for which Martyn is currently Project partner, as well as a large zero energy residential development at Ashford in Kent and Tower House, a commercial development in the City of London.
Martyn is in overall charge of the Partnership’s finances and information technology, and is the practice representative at The British Council for Offices.
